Less is more, remove all clutter and personal items such as family photos and any religious pictures.
Three is the magic number for Staging, 3 items on a table, 3 pieces of furniture, 3 accessories.
Give all items breathing room -don't crowd things on shelves, countertops, dressers or tables.
Balance large heavy furniture with smaller, lighter objects throughout a room.
Let the light in. Remove heavy drapery, open shades; wash the windows.
Ensure that any carpeting has been steam cleaned, all floors washed and any scuff marks wiped from walls and doors.
